Sayles Field and Woods
Directions
From Route 1, turn onto South Freeport Road. Take South Freeport Road, until you see the post office and church. Entrances to Sayles Field are from Pine Street and Church Road, which are both streets off of South Freeport Road, right near the church.
Parking for Sayles Field is limited side of road parking off of Sayles Field. There is a parking lot for the Stonewood Trail, which will take you to Sayles Field. Please park there.
About the Trail
This 70-acre FCT property has 2 miles of trail looping through field and forest. Dogs must be kept on a leash within 500’ of the road. Visitors can walk through to Bliss Woods via Stonewood Trail, which is accessed from the northwest corner of Sayles Woods.
