45th Anniversary of FCT

 This year we are celebrating our 45th anniversary!!

Established in 1977, FCT is proud to reach its 45th year of serving the Freeport community. Milestone celebrations provide an opportunity to reflect on the past and imagine the future. Like all land trusts FCT has made the awesome commitment of protecting and taking care of lands forever. It is the many supporters, volunteers and leaders over decades that helped this local land trust reach this incredible milestone. Inspiration comes from so many people and places and enables our work to happen every single day.

This year also marks the year we all mourn the loss of one of our founders, Andy Cadot. When you enjoy an open view of the water or a farm field, or walk on a wooded public trail around Freeport, odds are that Andy Cadot had a hand in preserving it.
