Visit the Elizabeth Simpson Trail
Explore the peaceful walk through ferns and a babbling brook. Simpson Woods has two trail loops totaling 2 miles of trail. The blue trail loop includes some technical steep and narrow sections, while the white loop features a wider trail perfect for dog walks or a peaceful snowshoe walk.
“Elizabeth would be so happy to know that all living things can always enjoy the beauty of this land”
This trail system is in honor of Elizabeth Simpson who passed in 2019. In her will, she attached a draft easement so FCT could protect this land she cared so deeply for. Elizabeth lived her whole life on this land. We can thank Mari Smith, Elizabeth’s executor for helping FCT protect this property.
