There is a small trailhead parking area on the right side of Route 1, about 2.8 miles north of Mallett Drive.
Visit the Elizabeth Simpson Trail
This new trail is a short loop that passes through lovely woods and crosses a stream.
“Elizabeth would be so happy to know that all living things can always enjoy the beauty of this land”
This trail system is in honor of Elizabeth Simpson who died in 2019. In her will, she attached a draft easement so that when she died FCT could protect this land. Elizabeth live her whole life on this land. We can thank Mari Smith, Elizabeth’s executor for helping FCT protect this property.
