Welcome new Stewardship Coordinator, Jonathan Dawson!

Freeport Conservation Trust is pleased to welcome Jonathan Dawson as our first part-time Stewardship Coordinator. Jonathan lives in Pownal with his wife, Kate, his daughter, two sons, and three sheep. Most recently, Jonathan has been consulting with local land trusts in the area, focusing on stewardship and infrastructure projects. He has a degree in biology, a 100-ton/sail US Coast Guard pilot license, as well as many other practical skills and experiences to draw upon. His favorite sideline is coaching the Freeport Middle School cross-country ski team. He is an enthusiastic proponent of outdoor recreation.
